2023 Jeep Wrangler - Performance
The base engine for the 2023 Jeep Wrangler is a 3.6-liter V6 that makes 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque and which can tow up 3,500 pounds with four-door models and 2,000 pounds with two-door models. A six-speed manual transmission is standard. An eight-speed automatic transmission is optional. A turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is optional. It makes 270 hp and 295 lb.-ft. and comes standard with the automatic. A plug-in hybrid powertrain is available, but Jeep treats the 4xe Wrangler as a separate vehicle. The diesel engine option is being phased out but available for the 2023 model year exclusively through the Far Out special edition.
