Galeana Jeep - What has been updated on the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe near Cape Coral FL?

The Grand Cherokee has been the most critically acclaimed SUV since it debuted in the 1990s. Last model year, Jeep introduced an all-new fifth-generation platform that includes the Grand Cherokee 4xe, which has a plug-in hybrid powertrain. For the 2023 Jeep Grande Cherokee 4xe now available at Galeana Jeep, the focus is on refinement and even more customization options. The biggest updates are that the popular Trailhawk off-road trim is now exclusive to the 4xe lineup and that Jeep has introduced a special 30th Anniversary Edition that will only be available this model year.

There are six trim levels available for the new Jeep Grande Cherokee 4xe near Cape Coral at our Jeep dealership. The 4xe is the base trim but equipped like the Limited if you’re comparing it to the standard lineup. The 30th Anniversary Edition is based on the base 4xe with many of its options added in. The Trailhawk 4xe is the most off-road capable version of the Grand Cherokee available. The Overland 4xe has some of those off-road enhancements but also a more upscale interior. The Summit 4xe is a luxury model, and the Summit Reserve 4xe is similar but with premium leather seating, a 19-speaker McIntosh audio system and unique 21-inch wheels.

Many of the questions we get about the Grand Cherokee 4xe have to do with the plug-in hybrid powertrain. This powertrain combines a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with dual electric motors, a battery pack and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive is standard, and the combined output is an impressive 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. Trailering equipment is available, and that upgrade allows the Grand Cherokee 4xe to tow up to 6,000 pounds. Battery-only driving range is 26 miles, and you can charge the battery to full with a Level 2 charger in about 2.5 hours. Also serving Naples Florida.
