The Ram ProMaster keeps things simple by making a 3.6-liter V6 available, which offers up 280 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. This engine works with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Technology
Tech features range greatly, with even the standard iteration of the Ram ProMaster coming outfitted with a solid set of features. The Ram ProMaster comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, satellite radio, USB ports, and a 4-speaker audio system. Additional tech can be had via some packages. The Premium Convenience package comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display, wireless device charging, and a navigation system with voice control.
Interior Features
In its entry-level form the Ram ProMaster comes with cloth-trimmed seats, power door locks, push-button start, power door locks, and manually adjustable driver's seat. The Convenience Group adds ambient interior LED lighting along with cargo nets and an overhead storage shelf. The Premium Convenience Group adds a handful of other features. There's a host of individual features that can be added, which are standalone outside of the various packages. Notable interior features include wood cargo flooring, rear heating and air conditioning, swiveling front seats, leather seats, and vinyl seats. There are also windows for sliding and rear cargo doors. Heated front seats also make an entrance along with two-person front passenger seats.
Safety
Safety features abound with the new Ram ProMaster. The standard version of the ProMaster comes with pedestrian and cyclist detection, crosswind assist, and driver attention warning. Additional driver assistance features can be had by opting for the Safety Group, Advanced Safety Group, or Driver convenience group. The Safety Group comes with parking sensors and blind spot warning with rear cross traffic warning while the Advanced Safety Group adds adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, and a surround view camera system. The Driver Convenience Group adds parking sensors.
